1. Introduction
Welcome to Auger Inc.’s (“Auger”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) website. At Auger, we value your privacy and are committed to protecting any personal information you disclose to us. This Privacy Policy outlines the types of information we collect, how we use and protect it, and your rights regarding your information.

2. scope
We provide a supply chain operating system for companies. In the normal course of our business activities, we act as “data processor” or “service provider” on behalf of our clients (as these terms are defined under applicable law). Such business activities fall outside the scope of this policy.

This policy applies to personal information collected through Auger website(s), including all subdomains that link to this policy (“Site”), emails, and your interactions with Auger to enable us to provide services to your company or employer, whether online or in-person. It also applies to personal information collected from individuals who apply for employment with Auger. We refer to all of the above as our “Services.” By using our Site or otherwise using our Services, you acknowledge this Notice.

3. Information We Collect
Auger and its service providers may collect certain personal information from you when you visit our Site or otherwise interact with us. For example, we collect personal information from you when you reach out to us via our Get in Touch page or sign up for promotional emails. The information we collect may include:

  • Information you provide to us via the Site or when engaging or inquiring regarding our Services.  When you contact us, subscribe to our updates, interact with our Site, or use our Services, we may collect personal details like your name, email address, business address, phone number, job title, and company information.
  • Information provided by third parties.  We may receive information about you from third parties, such as business partners, data providers, or publicly available sources, including professional or business-related information, demographic information, preferences, or activity data that helps us better understand and serve you. We do not have control over the information that is collected, used, and shared by these third parties. This includes business contact information (such as name, job title, employer, and business phone number and email address) obtained from B2B data providers and sales intelligence platforms for the purpose of reaching out to individuals at companies that may benefit from our Services.
  • Professional and employment information.  We may collect information if you are a representative of one of our business customers, or if you apply for a position at Auger. For applicants, this includes resumes and application materials, work history, educational background, references, interview and assessment records, and background check results. We may also collect voluntary demographic information (such as race, ethnicity, gender, disability status, and veteran status) for equal opportunity monitoring purposes; this information is not used in hiring decisions.

4. Information Collected Automatically
Like many businesses, we and our service providers automatically collect and/or store certain information when you visit or interact with the Site or Services (“Usage Information”), including via cookies and other tracking technologies (“Tracking Technologies”). This Usage Information may be stored and/or accessed from your personal computer, laptop, tablet, mobile phone or other device (a “Device”) whenever you visit or interact with our Site. Usage Information includes:

  • Your IP address, IDFA, IMEI, or another unique identifier;
  • Your Device functionality (including browser, browser language, settings and behavior, operating system, hardware, and mobile network information);
  • Referring and exit web pages and URLs;
  • The areas within the Site that you visit and your activities there;
  • Imprecise location information inferred from your IP address;
  • Your Device characteristics (such as device type (computer vs. mobile) and ID, operating system, hardware);
  • Certain other Device data, including the time of day you visit our Site or other information used to provide analytics or other usage information;
  • Information about your engagement with our emails; and
  • Statistical information about how you use the Site and Services.

We use certain Tracking Technologies, including cookies, pixels, and embedded scripts to collect and store Usage Information, recognize your Device, understand your interests, and deliver and improve our Site and Services. In addition, like many B2B companies, we use identity resolution services and technologies, including device fingerprinting, that may match device characteristics and browsing signals against third-party databases to associate website visits with individual identities.

We use third party analytics services such as Google Analytics for analytics services. For information on how Google processes and collects your information regarding Google Analytics and how you can opt-out, please click here.

Your browser settings may allow you to automatically transmit a “Do Not Track” signal to online services you visit. Note, however, there is no consensus among industry participants as to what “Do Not Track” means in this context. We currently do not alter our practices when we receive a “Do Not Track” signal from a visitor’s browser.

When you use the Services, we may receive information about your computer or mobile device, including a unique identifier for your device. We and Third-Party Services we collaborate with, including analytics and ad networks, may use cross-device/cross-context tracking.

5. Third-Party Services and Social Features
The Services may provide links to third-party services (“Third-Party Services”) not controlled by Auger, including social media plugins (“Social Features”). Examples of Social Features include the buttons to link to LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and YouTube from our Site. Such links do not constitute an endorsement by Auger of those Third-Party Services or imply any association with their operators. You acknowledge that Auger is providing these links to you only as a convenience, and further agree that Auger is not responsible for the content of the Third-Party Services. Your use of Third-Party Services is subject to the terms of use and privacy policies for the applicable Third-Party Service.al information.

If you use Social Features, and potentially other Third-Party Services, information you post or provide access to may be publicly displayed on the Auger Services or by the Third-Party Services that you use.

  • Service Providers.  We may disclose your personal information to trusted third-parties that perform services on our behalf, or who assist us in operating our website and conducting our business, including companies that support our recruitment and hiring activities such as applicant tracking, skills assessment, and background check providers. These parties are bound by contract to use the information only for the purposes for which it was disclosed.
  • Marketing and Advertising Technology Providers.  We may disclose your personal information to third parties who assist with the marketing of Auger’s services.

We may use and share this aggregated and anonymized information for any purpose, including without limitation, for research and marketing purposes.

8. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed as completely secure, and we cannot ensure the absolute security of any information disclosed to us.

9. Retention of Information
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, comply with legal obligations, and resolve disputes. In the case of job applicants, we retain application records for a minimum of one year following the close of the relevant recruitment process, and for longer periods where required by applicable employment or equal opportunity laws. In some instances, Auger may be legally required to retain your personal data for longer time periods, or as necessary to protect its rights and interests. Business contact data obtained from third-party providers for sales and marketing outreach is retained for no longer than two years from collection, or until you request removal, whichever is earlier; we retain suppression records indefinitely to honor opt-outs.

10. Your Choices
You may opt out of receiving direct marketing emails from us any time by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link in those emails. Alternatively, you may ask us at any time to stop sending you direct marketing emails by emailing us at privacy@auger.com.
